Filigree has been a recurring theme in my work lately. The forms are such a joy to create. Each one original and unique.
Carved by hand from local, sustainably sourced black walnut. Strung with a 14ct gold (plated) necklace and clasp. A very light gilding to some areas of the carving.

Finished with shellac, linseed oil and beeswax.
